The International Students College of Nanjing Audit University (Institute of International Cultural Exchange in Audit) is a specialized institution for the management and education of international students at the university. Relying on the university's unique disciplinary characteristics and educational advantages as the only full-time undergraduate institution in China named after Audit, it is dedicated to cultivating high-quality professionals in audit and finance with an international perspective, an understanding of international rules, and familiarity with China's national conditions, serving the country's opening-up strategy and the internationalization of higher education. To leverage the fundamental, pioneering, and long-term role of cultural exchange in practical cooperation in the audit field, and to utilize the educational and research resources of universities to support Chinese enterprises' participation in the Belt and Road Initiative and the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind, in 2021, the Center for International Cultural Exchange of the Ministry of Education and Nanjing Audit University decided to jointly establish the Institute of International Cultural Exchange in Audit, which is affiliated with the International Students College.
The college focuses on audit + finance characteristic education and builds a training system with degree education as the main and non-degree education as the auxiliary. It offers an international class for Master of Audit, with the curriculum emphasizing the integration of Chinese audit practice and international academic standards, and strengthening case teaching and practical ability cultivation. Non-degree education includes Chinese language courses, short-term training programs, etc., covering themes such as Chinese audit systems, financial policies, and traditional culture, to meet the learning needs of international students at different levels.
The college actively expands its international cooperation network and has successively established exchange mechanisms with universities and institutions in many countries and regions around the world, conducting exchange student, joint training, short-term training and other projects, providing international students with diverse academic exchange platforms. At the same time, relying on the school's China Government Audit Scholarship qualification, it provides scholarship support for outstanding international students to help them complete systematic studies in China.
The Institute of Audit and International Cultural Exchange focuses on the audit industry + country research model, conducting scientific research and practice in areas such as international organization audit and Belt and Road audit standards coordination. Through building high-end dialogue platforms, promoting the integration of industry, academia and research, and cultivating audit professional + humanities compound international talents, it serves Chinese enterprises' participation in the Belt and Road construction and cultural exchanges in the field of audit between China and foreign countries, providing policy consultation and talent support for enterprises' overseas development.
In terms of student services, the college adheres to the principle of equal emphasis on management and service, equips full-time international student counselors, and provides full-process services such as enrollment guidance, visa residence, academic support, and cultural adaptation. It regularly organizes activities such as Studying in China, Audit Practice Investigation, and International and Chinese Students Exchange, helping international students deeply understand Chinese society and culture and creating an open and inclusive campus environment.
Up to now, the college has cultivated more than a thousand international students from over 70 countries and regions on five continents. Graduates are widely employed in international audit organizations, multinational enterprises and related professional fields. Some students continue to pursue degrees at domestic and foreign universities and gradually grow into bridges and ties promoting international exchanges and cooperation.
