Professor Mingwei Tang

Profile

Professor Mingwei Tang, male, born in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, owns a doctor degree of management. Now, I am an adjunct master’s supervisor at Hohai University, a corresponding reviewer for the national natural science foundation of China and the national social science foundation of China, a science and technology consultant for the Guangdong provincial department of science and technology, a reviewer for the SSCI journal The Electronic Library, an Internationally certified Java programmer, and a certified big data development engineer by the ministry of industry and information technology. Besides, I used to work as an adjunct professor/visiting scholar/postdoctoral researcher at the University of North Texas and a postdoctoral fellow in information science at Nanjing University.

Research Areas

I have long been committed to applying cutting-edge technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things to solve practical management issues. As the first author, I have published over 30 papers in important journals in the field of library and information science, including SSCI, EI, CSSCI, and CSCD. I have successively presided over one major project each from the National Social Science Fund, the National Natural Science Foundation, the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Science Fund, the China Postdoctoral Fund, the Jiangsu Province Social Science Fund, and the Jiangsu Province University Social Science Fund. I have also participated in multiple national-level major and key research topics. As the first inventor, I have been granted two national invention patents and hold 13 software copyrights. I have received the Second Prize of the East China Science and Technology Intelligence Achievement, the Third Prize of the Jiangsu Province University Philosophy and Social Science Award, the Second Prize of the Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Intelligence Society Achievement, and the Second Prize of the Jiangsu Province Library and Information Science Academic Achievement, each once. I possess extensive experience in the analysis, design, development, and audit of information systems.

唐明伟，男，江苏无锡，博士、副教授，河海大学兼职硕导，美国北德克萨斯大学兼职教授/访问学者/博士后，南京大学情报学博士后，国家自然科学基金通讯评审专家，审计署卫生药品审计局外聘信息系统审计专家，SSCI期刊《The Electronic Library》审稿专家，国际认证Java程序员，工信部认证大数据开发工程师。

长期从事大数据、人工智能、物联网等前沿技术在应急管理领域的应用研究，以第一作者在情报学领域SSCI、EI、CSSCI和CSCD等重要期刊上发表论文30余篇，先后主持国家自然科学基金、教育部人文社科基金、中国博士后基金、江苏省社科基金、江苏高校社科基金重大项目各1项，参与多项国家级重大和重点课题；以第一发明人授权国家发明专利2项，拥有软件著作权13项，获得华东科学技术情报成果二等奖、江苏高校哲学社会科学奖三等奖，江苏省科学技术情报学会成果二等奖，江苏省图书馆学情报学学术成果二等奖各1项。具有丰富的信息系统分析、设计、开发和审计经验。
