SIE is going to organize a Chinese Poetry Recitation Contest for international students. Details for this contest are as follows.
Form of Contest: contestants need to choose one of the attached Chinese poetries or any other Chinese poetry you like but not listed in the attachment, and make a video record of your Chinese poetry recitation performance. You may enrich your performance with background music, dress up or other auxiliary actions.
Time/Way for Submission: please submit your performance video by August 20th to sie@nau.edu.cn . Please rename your video with your student number.
Preparation: In order to help students better prepare for this contest, SIE invites some Chinese volunteer students to guide your poetry recitation practice. You have over one week to practice reciting the poetry you choose before recording.
Rules for Assessment: SIE will invite judges to make assessment for each contestant from the following aspects: personal appearance and image, pronunciation and intonation, posture and demeanor, Other highlights (like image quality of video, background music etc) .
Awards: This contest will set first prize, second prize, and third prize (the number of each prize will be adjusted according to the number of students who are involved in). Each prize winner will get an e-certificate issued by SIE.
