In the afternoon of May 25, 2022, the School of International Exchange organized the fourth Cloud Tour for international students to visit The Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum online.
The Cloud Tour started from The Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, and the international students followed the live camera to walk through Boai Square, climb 392 stone steps, and visit The Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in front of the altar. They also had a deeper understanding of Sun’s philosophy of nationalism, people's rights and people's livelihood.
After that, the international students walked through the Sycamore Avenue, and came to the second stop of the Cloud Tour - Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. Ming Xiaoling is the joint tomb of Ming Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang and his empress, and is one of the largest imperial tombs in China. The stone statues on the Shinto path are huge and lifelike, and the details are still clearly recognizable after more than 600 years of wind and rain, which made the international students marvel at the excellent skills of the ancient Chinese.
The School of International Exchange will continue to hold many online cultural activities to deepen international students' understanding of China and convey the voice of China to the world through them.
