This semester, we bring a new activity: "NIHAO Chinese Classroom Volunteer Programme"
With the development of the times, the trend of globalisation is becoming more and more obvious, where China shows the charm of a cultural power with a thousand years of cultural heritage. It is the profundity of Chinese culture that attracts many foreigners to come to China from far and wide to experience Chinese culture.
Many foreigners in China are interested in learning about Chinese culture and would like to learn more about it by communicating with the university students around them, but they are frustrated that there are no locals who are willing to help them solve their problems.
Learning English is a lifelong activity for today's university students, so they need more opportunities to communicate in a foreign language to improve their skills and knowledge, for those who want to go abroad or work in foreign companies. This event is a great opportunity to help students improve their speaking and communication skills, and to give international students a good understanding of China, from simple Chinese pinyin to easy-to-understand communication language, from folklore festivals to ethnic characteristics, from the origins of China to the development of modern China ....... The event will be held at the same time.
Description of the event: The class will be conducted in the mode of a host partner introducing the class and volunteers helping international students on a one-to-one basis. Each time 5-7 international students, the theme of the course is appropriate to Chinese culture, rich and varied course design, easy and effective small classroom model to help international students to understand Chinese culture, improve the language and foreign language communication skills of the participating students, and enhance the self-confidence and willingness to express themselves, and enrich the experience of the students.
