自新型冠状病毒肺炎疫情防控阻击战打响以来，南京审计大学上上下下就开始忙碌起来，全力保卫校园安全，留学生管理战线也不例外。不同于本国学生寒假基本都回家过春节，由于路途遥远，来自30个国家的57名留学生选择留在学校过年。疫情发生以后，南京审计大学就更是留校留学生在中国的家，留管人义不容辞地承担起了“家长”的责任，以细致耐心的工作，帮助他们健康、安全、稳定的度过。
Sincethe outbreak of novel coronavirus epidemic (newly named by WHO asCOVID-19), Nanjing Audit University (NAU) has been fully devoted toprotecting campus safety in an active and timely way. Greatimportance was as well attached to NAU international students,most of whom chose to stay on campus, their home away from home,during this winter holiday. To help international students overcomedifficulties during this critical period, School of InternationalExchange (SIE) is playing the role of “parents” with theirexpertise and dedication.
疫情发生以来，国际文化交流学院直属党支部高度重视，坚持两个“维护”，讲政治，顾大体，识大局，提高政治站位，增强“四个意识”，巩固“主题”教育成果，通过国交院全体同志的共同努力，践行“四个自信”。第一时间成立了疫情防控工作小组，制定责任清单，摸排学生情况，修缮疫情防控期间来华留学生各类突发事件应急预案，协调总务委员会做好留校留学生供给保障，做到守土有责、守土负责、守土尽责。
Underthe guidance of NAU General Party Committee, SIE party branchestablished a work group to ensure novel coronavirus epidemicprevention and control at the very initial stage, made duty lists,checked international students’ health status, and revisedinternational students’ contingency plans since theoutbreak of novel coronavirus epidemic. SIE also worked with NAULogistics Department to ensure daily necessities ofinternational students on campus.
这次寒假值班，国交院全体人员参加。在排班过程中，大家首先想到家在外地的单身同志，家在南京的尽量排在春节期间。1月20日前值班的像毕潆、骆思宇老师，虽然当时疫情尚无爆发，但他们值班期间，每天到留学生宿舍检查，楼上楼下来回检查到每间宿舍，提醒督促检查留学生用电安全。家在外地的谢艺老师从1月20日到23日值班，由于值班回家车票都没买着，大年三十父亲专门从东台开车来接她回家。汤晓云老师和张吟老师主动提出在合家团圆的大年三十和大年初一值班，看到学校老师在中国人最隆重的春节除夕和大年初一，自己的老师在学校，让留学生倍感欣喜与安慰。大家在值班过程中，遇到问题，相互提醒、相互帮助，不让工作有任何失误，杨艳老师值班期间把疫情防控期间所有上级下发的各种文件通知归档，主动提出修改留学生突发事件应急预案，并高质量地编写了《国际文化交流学院疫情防控期间来华留学生各类突发事件应急预案》。徐菲老师在父亲有疴在身的情况下，依然按时到校值班。截止发稿为止，国交院所有同志，无论在南京还是在外地，每天向上级主管部门、学校报送的数据信息都在确保时间要求的前提，做到数据精准，不遗漏任何一个留学生。
AllSIE staff members have been taking turns to be on duty duringthe winter vacation. Dormitory routine inspection was carried out byNicole Bi and Siyu Luo every day to ensure proper use ofelectrical appliances in the dorm. When she finished her turn onduty, it was already the day before the Chinese New Year's Eve andLisa Xie found it impossible to buy any ticket to go home. It was herfather who drove several hundred kilometers on New Year's Eve to takeher home. Effine Tang and Alexis Zhang even sacrificed theirfamily reunion time and stayed with international students oncampus on the eve and the first day of Chinese New Year. Wendy Yangtook the initiative in revising “SIE Contingency Plan forInternational Students During the Virus Control Period”. Effie Xureturned to school from her parents’ home in due timethough her father was suffering from severe sickness. All SIEstaff members, whether in or outside of Nanjing, reporteddaily international students’ data and that ofinternational teaching faculty members in an accurate and timelyway according to the requirements of NAU.
寒假期间，留学生行踪复杂，回国的、留校的、在中国境内旅游的、在境外旅行的，不一而足。对于不同的情况，国际文化交流学院制定了不同的应对方法。对于已经回国的学生，通知他们寒假延长，不要提早返校，耐心等候学校开学通知；对于留校的学生，做好每日两次体温检测，叮嘱他们尽量减少外出，出门戴口罩，勤洗手，不聚集；对于境内旅游的学生，敦促其减少流动，做好个人防护，返校的学生，按南京市要求做到单独隔离；对境外旅游的学生，建议其直接回国，待确定新学期开学时间之后再返回校园。在此次抗击疫情战役中，国交院对所有留学生提出明确要求：不管身处何处，每天都须在学校开发的疫情防控区块链及时登录填报个人信息。
Internationalstudents’ route status is far more complicated thanexpected during the holiday season. Some went back to theirhome country, some stayed on campus, some travelled around China,some travelled in foreign countries. SIE accordingly took differentmethods dealing with various situations. Students who returnedto their home countries are informed not to return backto campus before the new semester officially starts; students oncampus had body temperature measured twice a day. Severalprecaution methods were emphasized to them, such as wearing facialmasks when going out, avoiding going out of campus ifunnecessary, washing hands frequently, and no gathering on campus;students who travelled within China were required tohave self-quarantine for 14 days after returning; those whotravelled in foreign countries were suggested to go back to theirhome countries and wait for formal announcement of the newsemester date. SIE clarified to international students that no matterthey are in China or abroad, they are expected to fill outNAU block chain system that collects students’ dailyinformation of health situation and route status on time.
除了每日告知学生最新的疫情动态、防疫手段方法，向留学生提供汉语学习内容和室内个人锻炼小秘籍，了解并上报全体在校留学生当日动向和健康状况外，留管工作人员每天最常做的工作就是解答学生的疑问，安抚学生的情绪。“为什么不能出校园？”、“为什么要每天测体温？”、“是不是体温偏高就要被隔离，我不想被隔离。”、“病毒没有特效药，感染了怎么办？”类似的问题留学生百问不厌，值班留管人员也是有问必答。疫情发展初期，部分留学生对每日测体温、报告出行情况等有不理解的情绪，对疫情的发展也心存恐慌，班主任老师轮番耐心解释，传递中国政府防疫工作的新情况、新进展，科普防疫知识，经过细致耐心的沟通，学生的不解与恐慌逐渐消退，积极配合学校防疫工作，也互相加油打气，叮嘱彼此注意防护，保护自己就是保护大家。
SIEalso paid attention to students’ psychological status andemotions. “Why can’t we go out of campus?” “Why testingbody temperature every day?” “Is self-quarantine a mustif my body temperature is high?” “What if I get infected?Are there any effective treatments?” These questions wereraised up by international students from time to time, and wereresponded by SIE duty staff patiently and properly. During theinitial period of epidemic outbreak, some students hadmisunderstandings toward everyday information report and bodytemperature measurement, and felt nervous about virus spreading. SIEstaff members made tremendous efforts in reassuring students withcareful guidance and patient conversations. Students graduallyunderstood that these measures were taken to ensure their own as wellas public health.
每日应接不暇的疫情防控工作之外，面对突发情况，留管人员的身影立即出现在突发现场。疫情还未爆发时在厦门旅游的加纳学生艾洁，回校之后在宿舍自我隔离。回校第三天，艾洁在检查体温时发现自己体温偏高，第一时间报告了值班老师。值班老师立即上报学院疫情防控小组并报学校疫情防控工作组，在学校疫情防控工作组指导下开展工作，学校总务部门派出车辆，值班老师亲自陪同学生前往浦口区指定发热门诊。一番检查下来，原来是虚惊一场。有完备的应急预案、有高度责任心的值班老师、强大的后勤保障，面对突发情况，南审留管人应对从容，让留学生感受到极大的安慰，也无声地给了留学生极大的信心。
Inface of emergency, SIE staff responded promptly. One student fromGhana self-quarantined in the dormitory after traveling back fromXiamen. On the third day after she returned, her body temperaturetest showed a little bit high. This situation was immediatelyreported to her class teacher, as well as SIE and NAU NovelCoronavirus Epidemic Prevention and Control Work Group. A car wassent by NAU Logistics Department immediately to drive thestudent to designated hospital. Thankfully, it was just a falsealarm. But with detailed contingency plan, responsible SIE dutystaff, and powerful logistic backup, NAU international studentsmanagement group could deal with emergency calmly, which helped a lotin boosting up international students’ confidence againstnovelcoronavirus.
无论是已经毕业的留学生校友，还是寒假回国的留学生不断发来一条条暖心祝福。“中国加油！武汉加油！”“我们国家给中国送援助来了，中国快点好起来。”“坚持住！武汉！一切都会好起来！”“我爱中国，中国是我第二个家，我们和中国人民在一起！
NAUinternational graduates and students who are back home duringthe winter holiday sent warm blessings through WeChat: “Stay strongChina! Stay strong Wuhan!” “Our country has delivered aidmedical resources to China. Please recover soon!” “Staystrong Wuhan, everything will be okay!” “I love China, Chinais my second home away from my home country. We will stay withChinese people”.
