Knowing about China——Experiencing China Audit and Culture
2019年3月21日—22日，南京审计大学组织来自5大洲41个国家的58名来华留学生前往首都北京，开展为期两天的“感知中国·审计文化”之旅活动。参加此次活动的留学生均为由“一带一路”沿线国家各国审计署推荐，获“中国政府审计奖学金”的2017级审计专业硕士。短短的两天时间，留学生们通过乘坐高铁感受“中国速度”，欣赏“鸟巢”和“水立方”等北京奥运建筑之美，游览中国明清建筑艺术和古代文化艺术的典范——故宫博物院，并参观他们仰慕已久的中国最高审计机关——中华人民共和国审计署。
Fifty-eight international students of 2017 MAud students of the Chinese Government Scholarship Auditing Master Programand Ministry of Commerce Auditing Master Program from 41 countries participated in the activity of “Knowing About China——Experiencing China Audit and Culture” on the 21st and 22nd of March, 2019. This activity was organized by Nanjing Audit University (NAU). During this two-day activity, the 2017 MAud batch took a trip to Beijing and visited the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest), the National Aquatics Center (Water Cube), the Palace Museum, andthe highlight of the trip, China National Audit Office (CNAO), aiming to know more about the China auditing system and the Chinese traditional culture.
3月21日清晨，天还蒙蒙亮，留学生们就在国际文化交流学院老师的带领下，乘坐“复兴号”高铁，以350公里/小时的速度向首都北京进发。平稳舒适快捷的高铁乘车体验让留学们赞叹不已，中国高铁建设这项惠民工程的技术之成熟使他们敬佩有加。
By taking the “Fuxinghao” high-speed train, the latest model of Chinese high-speed train, travelling at 350 km/h, the international students were amazed by the speed and comfort, calling it “China Speed”.
3月21日下午，留学生们参观了2008年北京奥运会标志性建筑物北京“鸟巢”和“水立方”。有“鸟巢”之称的国家体育场形态如同孕育生命的“巢”和摇篮，寄托着人类对未来的希望。被称为“水立方”的国家游泳中心建筑造型是根据细胞排列形式和肥皂泡天然结构设计而成的。透过匠心独运的昔日奥运建筑，留学生们感受到其中所蕴含的绿色、科技、人文的奥运设计理念。
One of their stops during the tour is Beijing Olympic Park, where they visited the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest) and the National Aquatics Center (Water Cube), the two symbolic architectures of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. The nest-shaped stadium symbolizes the future aspirations of the human race. The Water Cube is designed according to the layout of cells and soap bubbles. The unique architecture in the Olympic Park manifests the designing concept of environment-friendliness, advanced technology and humanistic care.
3月22日上午，留学生们来到慕名已久的世界文化遗产宝库故宫博物院。看着气势宏伟、雕梁画栋的古代中国皇家宫殿群，听着导游绘声绘色的历史描述，留学生们对中国悠久深厚的历史文化又多了一层认识。
After their tour of modern Olympic Park, the international students visited the Palace Museum. The students were excited and thrilled to see the ancient royal palace with their own eyes. As soon as they entered the Forbidden City, they couldn’t wait to find different types of dragon and count the number of ridge animals that are an essential part of the architecture and Chinese traditional culture. The stories of long ago about the Palace inspired students’ enthusiasm and consequently, these overwhelmed studentstook photos in front of the ancient architecture with all kinds of posture. This tour of the Palace Museum greatly enhanced their understanding of the Chinese history and culture.
行程最后一站，留学生们来到此行的主题目的地——中华人民共和国审计署。在那里，学员们受到了审计长胡泽君女士、副审计长秦博勇女士和国际司的热情接见。胡泽君审计长对学员们的到来表示热烈欢迎，并与学员一一握手寒暄。
The highlight of this trip was undoubtedly China National Audit Office. Here, the international students were met by Auditor General of CNAO, Madame Hu Zejun, and Deputy Auditor General, Madame Qin Boyong. Madame Hu Zejun greeted and shook hands with every student.
胡泽君审计长在向学员致辞中殷切希望：首先要珍惜学习机会，增长才干，各国审计精英肩负着各国最高审计机关的重托，要时刻牢记自己的使命，勤奋学习，不断加强审计和其他相关领域的专业能力，以所学知识推进各国审计事业不断发展；其次要珍惜友谊，做友好使者，要充分利用留学机会，了解中国社会文化，为加强各国交流互信；最后，胡审计长祝学员们在华学习期间身体健康，学业有成，祝愿审计硕士项目取得圆满成功。
In her address to the 2017 batch, Auditor General, Madame Hu Zejun expressed and stressed: the international students should foremost live up to the expectation from their respective SAIs and keep firm in their mind their mission to study hard and equip themselves with knowledge concerning auditing and other areas to promote the audit causes in their own countries; they should as well become envoys of friendship between their countries and China, learn more about China and the Chinese culture and contribute their own bits to the establishment of a community with a shared future for humanity; finally, Auditor General, Madame Hu wished the students to complete their study successfully.
随后，南京审计大学刘旺洪校长作为项目培养单位领导对中国审计署的一贯大力支持表示感谢，自2016年承办该项目以来，南京审计大学已成功招收并培养了三届学员，其中首届学员已学成归国，并投身各国审计事业。校领导简要汇报了该项目实施情况以及南京审计大学在项目人才培养过程中所做的一系列工作和完善方案。
In his thank-you speech, Dr. and Prof. Liu Wanghong,the President of Nanjing Audit University, summarized the achievements, progress, as well as improvements in the cultivation of the MAud students, and expressed his gratitude for the ceaseless support from CNAO.
最后，留学生代表，来自安提瓜与巴布达审计署的范熙同学代表全体学员对胡泽君审计长的接见表示诚挚谢意，他高度赞扬了中国政府提出的“一带一路”倡议，对有机会来中国学习审计理论和实践知识感到无比荣幸，立志把所学知识服务于推进本国审计事业的发展，并祝中国审计署与各国最高审计机关友谊长青。留学生代表，来自蒙古和苏里南的学员代表为审计长送上2017级学员项目剪影作为纪念品。随后，全体学员在审计署办公楼前与胡审计长及相关部门领导亲切合影，留下美好的回忆。
The Academic Coordinator of 2017 MAud students, Brandon from Antigua and Barbuda, also expressed his heartfelt gratitude on behalf of all the students to Madame Hu Zejunfor CNAO support of the program. He felt honored to have this opportunity to study in China, thanks to the Belt and Road Initiative. He pledged that he would put what he will have learned in China into real practice to promote the audit cause of his own country. He wished an ever-lasting friendship between CNAO and SAIs in different countries. Student representatives from Mongolia and Suriname presented a photo album of 2017 batch as a souvenir. Finally, a group photo of the international students was taken in front of the CNAO building with Auditor General, Madame Hu and leaders from relevant departments.
两天的“审计文化”之旅向留学生们展现了北京这座国际化大都市的历史积淀与现代魅力。友好的中国政府，友爱的中国人民，给留学生留下了深刻的印象。通过此次活动，学员亲身体验和感受到尽管种族不同、文化有别，但彼此间增进了互信和理解，他们纷纷表示愿意携手为打造人类命运共同体的崇高目标而不断努力！
This two-day trip served as a platform for the international students to know more about China’s today and the past. Both the friendly Chinese government and people have greatly impressed them. Though different in races and cultures, people all the over the world will make joint efforts to establish a community with a shared future for humanity.
