11月10日至11日，国际文化交流学院组织2017级中国政府审计奖学金项目和商务部奖学金审计硕士项目共57名学员前往苏州开展为期两天的中国文化体验活动。
From November 10 to 11, 57 students of 2017 CGSAMP (Chinese Government Scholarship Auditing Master Program) and MOFCOM (Ministry of Commerce Scholarship Auditing Master Program) had a two-day culture trip to Suzhou, a citysuited on the lower reaches of the Yangtze River in Jiangsu Province. With the support from School of International Exchange (SIE) and relevant departments, the trip turned out very successful and fruitful.
素有“人间天堂”美誉的苏州，是国家历史文化名城，同时也是江苏长江经济带的重要组成部分。改革开放四十年间，苏州发展迅速，跃居全国百强城市前列，兼具传统水乡古韵和现代化都市气息。
Suzhou, also known as “a paradise on earth”, is a major tourist city, withfeaturing classical gardens and elegant natural scenery. During the past forty years, Suzhou grasped the opportunity of China’s economic reform and opening up, and grew into a focal point of trade and commerce along the Yangtze Economic Belt.
活动第一站来到了苏州博物馆。该博物馆馆藏文物4万余件，是一座集现代化馆舍建筑、古建筑与创新山水园林三位一体的综合性博物馆。在这里，留学生们得以饱览“吴地遗珍”，并纷纷对展现在眼前的出土文物、明清书画、工艺品惊叹不已。
The first stop of the trip was Suzhou Museum, with over 40,000 pieces of collections. The unique architecture style successfully integrates elements of private gardens into modern buildings. The international students were excited to have an overview of the Wu Treasures here, and marveled at the cultural relics, as well as delicate handicrafts displayed.
随后，留学生们先后参观了中国四大名园中的拙政园和留园，并游览吴中第一名胜虎丘。参观过程中，他们认真聆听导游的讲解，对苏州的民风民情充满了好奇，争先恐后地向导游和老师提问；入迷时，情不自禁地用双手触摸流淌着文化的历史实物；兴奋间，不约而同地用相机记录饱含风情的景物。
The international students all felt a privilegeto appreciate the charm of private gardens by visiting Zhuo Zhengyuan (Humble Administrator’s Garden), and Liuyuan Garden (Lingering Garden), two of the four famous Chinese Gardens in China. They also toured around the landmark of Suzhou——Huqiu Tower (Tiger Hill Pagoda). Curious about local folk customs, the international students kept raising relevant questions while listening to the explanations from the tour guide. They were deeply absorbed by the beautiful natural scenery and couldn’t help taking photos.
两天的参观体验，让留学生们真切感受到了苏州这块土地的风土人情，历史古韵，也看到改革开放以来苏州经济社会的飞速发展。据悉，国际文化交流学院在来华留学生中广泛开展了“感知中国”社会实践与文化体验活动，帮助留学生更好地了解和学习中国文化和习俗，丰富留学生的业余生活，取得了良好效果。
During the two-day visit, the international students perceived Suzhou’s folk culture, and witnessed its rapid growing momentum since China’s economic reform and opening up. In the past couple ofyears, SIE annually initiated diversified culture-experience activities for NAU international students, with the hope to enrich their experiences in China and enhance their understanding of China in an all-round way.
