九月伊始，盛夏初歇，日益国际化的南审又迎来了一批新的面庞。今年，我校国际学生招生工作再创佳绩，来自“一带一路”沿线国家的首批江苏外国留学生优才计划行业精英项目（TSP）留学生来我校攻读金融专业硕士学位。
At the beginning of this September, Nanjing Audit University (NAU) welcomed a group of newcomers including an ever-growing number of international students. The year 2018 marks the milestone of NAU’s internationalization, since it’s the first year for the recruitment of Talent Selection Programme (TSP) students, who come from countries along the “Belt and Road Initiative” and will pursue their Master Degree of Finance here in NAU.
9月1日和2日是国际学生集中报到日，本批次报到的国际学生包括TSP项目留学生、摩洛哥交换生、语言生。经过暑期细致用心的统筹安排，在学校总务委员会等相关部门的大力支持下，国际文化交流学院在澄园宿管站设志愿者服务接待台为学生提供便捷的一站式报到服务。报到工作在工作人员和志愿者的引导下有序展开。在往年经验的基础上，今年的迎新工作又进行了很多方面的优化和改进，来华留学生可通过微信关注“南京公安”完成临时入住登记，并通过手机下载“完美校园”APP为寝室充电，力求通过人性化的高效服务让学生愉快、顺利地开始南审校园生活。除了校徽、文具、新生生活指南、国际学生手册、迎新周日程安排等开学大礼包外，学院还为夜晚到校的新生贴心准备了抽纸、矿泉水等生活必需品保障其基本生活所需。
September 1st and 2nd were registration days for international students. The first batch of freshmen who came for registration included TSP students, Moroccan exchange students, language students, as well as Chinese undergraduate students from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macao and other overseas Chinese students. On these two registration days, SIE set up one-stop service counter in the lobby of international students apartment to facilitate the whole process. This years’ registration process was refined based on last year’s experience. International students can finish temporary residence registration on their smart phone via WeChat and top up their dormitory electricity with a top-up App. SIE also prepared a package for each international freshman and necessities for new students who arrived late at night.
新生报到工作结束后，国际文化交流学院举办系列活动帮助留学生尽快适应校园生活。迎新周期间，国际文化交流学院组织新生集中进行体检、银行卡、来华留学生居住证办理，在学院老师和学生志愿者的带领下，全体新生先后参观了国际文化交流学院办公室以及国际学生中心，图书馆、货币博物馆、审计文化与教育博物馆和南审校园。学院还特别邀请了南京市公安局出入境管理浦口支队的的赵警官为新生进行安全教育，并联合各二级学院开展新生导师见面会，为新生接下来投入紧张的学习做好充分准备。
After registration, SIE made a well-organized orientation schedule for the freshmen. The newcomers went through physical examination, and got their bank cards and residence permits with the help of SIE staff members. Under the guidance of senior student volunteers, all the newcomers visited working areas of SIE and toured around the campus. SIE also invited Officer Zhao from Nanjing Municipal Police Department to give all the new students security orientation. Mentor-freshmen meeting was also held to involve students in their academic study laying ahead.
一年一度的中秋佳节是象征阖家团圆的日子，而对于刚入学的18级国际新生而言则是他们在南审度过的第一个中国传统佳节。国际文化交流学院在中秋前夕为远离故国的国际学生进行中秋节传统文化宣传，组织国际学生在中秋节共品月饼，增进同学间的友谊，并体会国际化“大家庭”的温暖。至此，2018级第一阶段国际学生的迎新入学教育工作已圆满结束，他们将从陌生到熟悉、从异乡人到南审人，祝愿他们扬帆起航，在南审开启人生新篇章。
Mid-autumn Festival is always a time for family reunion. As for the 2018 batch of international freshmen, the past Mid-autumn Festival might be the first Chinese traditional festival they celebrated in China. SIE gave culture orientation about the traditions of Mid-autumn Festival among the international students and invited them to taste mooncakes. Such a kind of activity enhanced the friendship among the international students and brought them warmth from the international family. To date, the freshmen orientation for the first batch of 2018 international students ended with full success thanks to much support from NAU relevant departments, as well as tremendous preparations beforehand. It is our sincere wish the new international NAUers a memorable academic life in NAU.
