Nanjing Audit University (NAU) hosted the Opening Ceremony of 2018 International Auditing Master Program October 24th.
Deputy Director General, Madame ZHOU Wenhua from the Department of International Cooperation of China National Audit Office (CNAO) and Dr. and Prof. LIU Wanghong, the President of NAU, together with the leaders from relevant CNAO and NAU departments attended the Opening Ceremony.
52 new international students from 31 countrieswere enrolled by Nanjing Audit University this year.
The ceremony was chaired by Prof. YU Anping, the Vice President of NAU.
President LIU Wanghong of NAU delivered his welcome speech on behalf of NAU. In his speech, President LIU greeted the new international NAUers and reminded them of their shared responsibility as a potential auditor.
Deputy Director General, Madame ZHOU Wenhua extended her sincere welcomeand best wishes to the new students on behalf of CNAO Auditor General, Madame HU Zejun, as well as CNAO. She suggested students to enhance cooperation and cultural exchange among each other and bridge the understanding and friendship between their countries and China.
On behalf of student mentors, Mr. ZHOU Minli encouraged students to work hard in their future academic life and welcomed students to keep in touch whenever they face difficulties.
Monge Martinez Eduardo Jose from Salvador, the country that newly established diplomatic relations with China months ago, presenteda thank-you speech on behalf of the students of 2018 batch. Like all the other students, he cherished and would surely take this great opportunity to improve auditing skills.
This year marks the third consecutive year for the implementation of International Auditing Master Program in NAU. Before the opening ceremony, the 2018 batch students had experienced a week-long orientation to better adapt themselves to the new environment.
