为切实加强学校消防安全工作，提高我校来华留学生的消防安全意识，增强留学生们抵御火灾和应对紧急突发事件的能力，11月29日下午国际文化交流学院（国际学院）和保卫部在留学生公寓联合组织举行“南京审计大学来华留学生消防知识培训以及消防演习活动”。我校全体来华留学生及相关工作人员参加了此次消防演习活动。
In order to strengthen the fire fighting and safety work in NAU, improve international students’ awareness as well as their capacity to cope with fire accidents and escape from fireground in emergency. On November 29th, the School of International Exchange joint hands with NAU Security Department in giving a “ Fire Safety Orientation” for international students. All the international students in NAU and working staff from SIE and relevant departments took an active part in the orientation.
首先，保卫部王老师结合实际案例向留学生们分享了如何防范火灾，发现火灾后如何采取急救措施、如何逃生等消防知识，强调了火灾的危害性。
At the beginning, a vivid case study was given by Mr Wang from NAU Security Department to illustrate the danger of fire due to improper use of electrical appliances in the dormitory. He also shared with students some common senses about firefighting and self-rescuing measures when facing fire.

随后，在工作人员的现场指导下，留学生们模拟宿舍火场逃生疏散演习。留学生们按照疏散指示标志的指示从“火场”迅速有序离开，并在宿舍楼外安全地点集合完毕。
Afterwards, with the guidance from the working staff, the international students had a fire drill simulating fire evacuation in the dormitory. Key points of evacuation were emphasized beforehand. In hearing the fire alarm, students ran quickly out of their room and came downstairs in order with wet towel covering their nose and mouth and finally gathered in the plaza outside of the dormitory building with full head.

最后，留学生进行了实地消防演练，学习使用干粉灭火器。面对“冬日里的熊熊烈火”，留学生从容应对，运用刚刚学到的防火知识瞬时控制“险情”。
At last, the international students had a field drill practicing using dry powder extinguisher. The drill went on with Mr Wang demonstrating first and the students practicing next. In the face of the raging flames, students kept clam and put out the fire with extinguisher in due time.

演习结束后，来华留学生们纷纷表示此次消防演习对自己很有帮助，不仅学习了消防操作技能，也提高了消防安全意识。
The international students expressed their sincere gratitude to NAU for giving the fire safety orientation which helps them a lot. They not only raised their fire security awareness but also acquired practical firefighting skills through this orientation.
