To mark the 70th anniversary of victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression (1937-45) and the end of World War II, Chinese government held a military parade on Sept. 3, 2015, in Tian’anmen Square, Beijing, to commemorate this event.
     The timing was just the beginning of the new semester when thousands of freshmen arrived on NAU campus to register. Among these freshmen, NAU is also receiving dozens of international students. To familiarize their study and life on campus, NAU international students were invited to watch live parade on TV. These international students showed great interest in watching live TV program to observe how Chinese people celebrate this big event, and they said, after watching the parade, that they are very much impressed by the development of China and the Chinese determination to maintain world peace.
