2月2日，阴历腊月二十三，是中国的小年。为了让留学生体验中国年俗文化，留学生院组织了主题为“挥毫泼墨书春联 共梦同行迎龙年”的迎新春书法体验活动。本次活动特别邀请了南京审计大学客座教授、金陵书院院长赵小平，南京审计大学文学院张成进教授为留学生们指导书法创作。活动期间，南京审计大学党委书记晏维龙、校长董必荣和副校长李乾文等也给留学生带来了新年慰问。
The 23rd of the twelfth lunar month (February 2nd), is known in China as xiaonian, which marks the beginning of the earnest preparation for the Chinese New Year. In order to help the international students to experience Chinese New Year culture, School of International Students (SIS) organized a calligraphy experience activity with the theme of Writing Spring Festival Couplets with Ink and Brush, Welcoming the Year of the Dragon with a Shared Dream. Mr. ZHAO Xiaoping, visiting professor of Nanjing Audit University (NAU) and head of Jinling Calligraphy Studio and Professor ZHANG Chengjin from the School of Literature were invited to guide the calligraphy creation for the international students. During the event, YAN Weilong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Nanjing Audit University, DONG Birong, President, and LI Qianwen, Vice President, also brought New Year’s greetings to the international students.
书法是以汉字为基础、用毛笔书写的、具有四维特征的抽象符号艺术。中国书法文化博大精深，它体现了万事万物的“对立统一”这个基本规律又反映了人作为主体的精神、气质、学识和修养，被誉为无言的诗，无形的舞，无图的画，无声的乐。
Calligraphy is an abstract symbolic art based on Chinese characters, written with a brush, and characterized by four-dimensional features. Chinese calligraphy culture is vast and profound, reflecting the basic law of unity of opposites in all things and the spirit, temperament, knowledge, and cultivation of human beings. It is known as the non-verbal poem, the intangible dance, the pictureless painting, and the silent music.
活动伊始，晏维龙现场创作了“诚信方计万事名，致公当审天下利”以及“龙行龘龘，凤舞雥雥”两幅对联。晏维龙通过今昔对比向留学生介绍了“过年”的特殊文化含义、各种年俗文化的由来，并以生动的故事启示留学生以诚实守信为本，方能成就事业，给留学生上了一堂生动的中国文化课。最后，他希望留学生能够牢记习近平总书记的嘱托，了解中国、读懂中国，为深化国家间友谊与合作积极贡献力量。
At the beginning of the event, Professor Yan Weilong created two couplets on site: Integrity is the key to success, and impartiality serves for the benefit of the public. and Dragons walk with power and swiftness, and phoenixes dance in flocks and crowds. YAN Weilong introduced the special cultural meaning of Chinese New Year and the origin of various customs to the international students through a comparison between the past and the present. Through vivid stories, he inspired international students to prioritize honesty and trustworthiness in order to achieve their career goals, and gave them a vivid lesson in Chinese culture. Finally, he hopes that the international students can keep President Xi Jinping’s instructions in mind, understand China better, and actively contribute to deepening friendship and cooperation between countries.
南京审计大学校长董必荣、副校长李乾文向留学生发放了新年红包和新年礼包，向留学生们表达了“大家长”一般的关心与问候，他们期望留学生能够充分感受中国新年的氛围，讲好中国故事，主动承担起促进中外文化交流使者的角色。
Professor DONG Birong and Professor LI Qianwen distributed New Year’s gift money and new year presents to the international students, expressing their loving care and new year greetings to them as “heads of the household”. They hope that the international students can fully experience the atmosphere of Chinese New Year, tell Chinese stories well, and take the initiative to play the role of promoting cultural exchange between China and their own countries.
留学生们以一曲《茉莉花》向学校领导表达了诚挚的谢意，马拉维学员吴娜向学校赠送了他们近日亲手编制的手工花，巴基斯坦学员瓦卡代表留学生们向学校组织的这次活动表示感谢。
The international students expressed their sincere gratitude to the university authorities with a Chinese folk song Jasmine Flower. Tawona, a student from Malawi, presented the handmade flowers they had recently made to the university. Waqas, a Pakistani student, expressed gratitude on behalf of the international students to the university for organizing this event.
书法体验
赵小平向留学生首先介绍了中国书法的特点以及与春联相关的年俗文化，激发了学生的兴趣。随后，分笔画教留学生用毛笔书写“福”字。在他和张成进教授的共同指导下，留学生们跟着在宣纸上挥毫泼墨，津津有味地创作书法作品。
Mr. ZHAO Xiaoping introduced the characteristics of Chinese calligraphy and the folk culture related to the Spring Festival couplets to the international students, which aroused their great enthusiasm. Subsequently, he taught the international students to write the “FU”character with a writing brush in separate strokes. Under the joint guidance of him and Professor Zhang Chengjin, the international students followed suit and created calligraphy works with great interest on paper.
整个活动，其乐融融，留学生们手举着亲手书写的“福”字，热情洋溢地拍照留念。他们表示，从中国书法中，他们领会了刚柔相济的人生哲学，体会了中国新年的文化内涵，这些“福”字，寄托了每一个人对未来的美好期许，他们也将用亲手书写“福”字，祝福中国，祝福南审。
The whole activity was enjoyable, and the international students held up their handwritten “FU” characters, enthusiastically taking photos as souvenirs. They expressed that from Chinese calligraphy, they have understood the philosophy of balancing strength and softness in life, and the cultural connotations of the Chinese New Year. The “FU” characters help express people’s beautiful expectations for the future. They will also pray for blessings to China and Nanjing Audit University with the “FU” characters written by themselves.
来自“一带一路”沿线国家的43名留学生为了一个共同的审计梦想在南京审计大学相聚，在这里，他们将携手同行，讲好中国审计故事，传播中国审计文化，在新的一年里，用知识的画笔，书写美好的未来。
43 international students from countries along the “Belt and Road” gathered in Nanjing Audit University for a shared dream of auditing. Here, they will work together to tell a good story about auditing in China, spread Chinese auditing culture, and forge a bright and brilliant future in the coming year with the knowledge they gained in Nanjing Audit University.
